Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) started Monday’s trading session on a positive note.
By 10:51 am Saudi time, TASI inched up 2.5 points, or 0.03%, to 9,057.85 points.
TASI’s traded volume amounted to 22.39 million shares exchanged through nearly 22,240 transactions at a turnover of SAR 545.84 million.
The food retail sector was the top riser after adding 1.1%, while the energy sector led decliners with 1.9%.
Meanwhile, the basic materials and telecommunications sectors went up 0.13% and 0.1%, respectively.
Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance’s stock headed gainers with 7.5%, while National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia’s stock led fallers and slid 4.1%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, grew 4.17 points, or 0.11%, to 3,692.67 points.
Arab Sea Information System’s stock was Nomu’s best performer with 3.1%, whereas Al-Omran Industrial Trading’s stock was Nomu’s worst performer after dropping 0.4%.
